Designing the Verde Money Website: A UX/UI Case Study in Fintech Remittances
Verde Money is a fintech remittance platform designed to make sending money from the U.S. to Latin America fast, affordable, and secure. I worked on creating a user-friendly, trustworthy, and bilingual website that reflected the company’s mission of financial inclusion and transparency.
The Challenge
The website needed to establish credibility with first-time users while clearly communicating how the service works, its low pricing model, and its network of trusted partners. It also had to be simple to navigate for users who may be new to digital financial services, while building trust in a competitive remittance market.
My Role & Responsibilities
From 2024 through 2025, I served as the sole UX/UI designer for Verde Money, working as a freelance contributor. I was responsible for the full design of the public-facing website, ensuring that the company’s digital presence was clear, approachable, and aligned with its brand values. I also outlined future service pages to support scalability as the business grew.
Design Process & Approach
I collaborated closely with partners and external teams to design the website. My process involved multiple iterations of wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity screens, with a focus on usability and clarity. The design balanced business goals with user needs, presenting complex information—such as smart pricing and remittance networks—in a simple, accessible way.
